Richard Skellington is a colourful personality - a senior office-bearer of the Open University - UK, editor of their newsmagazine for Social Sciences [circulation about 45000 copies], a social scientist with some solid research on ethnic relations in Britain, an actor,a local councillor, a cricket umpire, a football referee. Of late he has taken up writing poetry and requested me to allow use of some of my painting-images.
I think he was trying for a print edition but for the moment, the collection of poems has gone on-line.
Happily, four paintings have been used. The poems and the images can be seen on the link below -

[They have also given a write-up on me, which can be seen on clicking my name under each painting].
As they have not given titles of the paintings, I am giving them below in the order they appear on the poetry-page with links to resp DA pages.

Devious Comments
This is exactly the kind of thing I had been looking for when I was writing poetry, images to match the words. When I could NOT find appropriate images, I started to create my own. Now I rarely write & focus more on the visual. I prefer painting to writing.
Wonderful combined effort.

Malapropism is my fiend.
I especially liked the poem "Spaces" and your very fitting painting "Cry in the Wilderness" as well as "In Besian - A History Lesson" and your beautiful work "All We Have Been Doing is Creating Walls."
I especially like "Before the Dead Could Ask" and thought your work "Her Son, Foreign Clouds" was the perfect illustration!
The only thing I think would have made Mr. Skellington's page a little better is to have had larger versions of your work with the poems underneath.
